We are a small Group situated in North Sussex that prepares car drivers for the IAM Advanced Driving Test We also cover parts of Surrey.

One member of our Committee has a particular interest in the care of Young Drivers and is looking at local sixth form colleges and other education establishments in the area. He is assisted by an IAM  member who is a Driving Instructor who has much experience in training youngsters for the DSA Driving Test.

We have had success with mature drivers that have come through Drivecheck to successfully pass the IAM Advanced Driving Test. We have shown that age is no barrier.

We are working with Sussex Police on the Community Speedwatch  programme where members have been trained to monitor and report speeding road users to the Police.  We also monitor  motorists who have anti social driving habits such as non-wearing of seat belts and mobile phone usage whilst driving under the Operation Crackdown programme. One member is on  a local Council Forum with  a particular interest in road safety in North Sussex.
